Since upgrading to Lion, I have had non stop problems with Mail.app on my 2011 MBA. And it seems to be a problem with one specific email account. It is an imap account hosted with GoDaddy. It has the spinning gear icon running almost continuously. Emails for this account will disappear and then reappear. Emails that I know have attachments will no longer have the attachment yet I can log into webmail and get the attachment. I've tried deleting the account and setting it up again. I've tried using different ports. I've tried turing SSL on and off. I've archived and removed any emails from before 2011 to decrease the number of messages. Nothing seems to make this account behave properly. Is there some sort of plist I can delete or some special setting for use with GoDaddy that might make a difference? Any thoughts at all?
