How can I make all spam/junk mail in my Gmail IMAP accounts appear in Mail's dedicated "Junk" mailbox, instead of Gmail's "Spam/Junk E-mail" labels?

Mail's junk mail filter moves flagged messages from its Inbox to Junk mail. If a message does not reach the Inbox, then it won't be moved to Junk mail. Disable spam filtering in Gmail. Let the Mail Junk mail filter do its thing.

That's a bad idea unless you are using SpamSieve or a smart spam filter, because Gmail does a pretty job with filtering.

So unless I disabled spam filtering in Gmail, there is no way to make spam appear in Mail's Junk mailbox?
