Hi all,

My Mail.app has been working fine with my @gmail.com account for yonks but has now suddenly stopped working. I either get a constant spinner next to the account or a warning sign that says something about bandwidth limits exceeded.
My blackberry gets my email fine, as does Evolution on Ubuntu 10.04. This has been on going for about a week and I've even archived any messages that have lots of pictures in them. Still no luck.
Mail is working with my other google apps accounts for about four different domains but _not_ with my @gmail.com account.
I've tried cancelling activity etc. but no luck.

Does anyone know what could be going wrong?

Okay well yesterday it gave me the "bandwidth limit exceeded" error and now I've got the permanently spinning wheel. I've included a screen shot of the activity window (none of those progress bars are moving, they're all frozen).

I read a post in the google forums about IMAP bandwidth limit in GMail lasting 24 hours (which is why, just in case, I archived all my big emails) but this has been weeks. Considering my blackberry is working fine (as is Evolution) it must be something with Mail.app.

Anyone?
