iPhone SE - iOS 15.3.1

I have my Mail app set up to use Google mail and other email accounts. They are all currently working.

Today I got a email from Google saying they are switching to OAuth2 May 30th.

What I would like to know is:

1 - How can I tell if my Google email account on the iPhone is using the OAuth2 authentication method?
2 - If it isn't set up for OAuth2 how do I change the settings to switch to OAuth2?

I can't finding anything in settings for this and I want to see how it's set up before deleting the account and creating it again.

Thanks.

iOS has been using OAuth2 for Gmail for a long time now. When you set it up. If you clicked Google then punched in the account info. You’ve been using OAuth2.

GMail wouldn’t even be working now unless you specifically set the Less Secure Apps option in your Google Account. Most likely also had to generate an app specific password. If you aren’t using OAuth2.

I’ve only seen one person in recent years not using OAuth2. On their iPhone. Because they’d been migrating Settings between phones since the iPhone 3.
