Hi All,
I wanted to import all my calendar entries and contacts etc. from outlook into my MBA so I set up exchange as per screenshot below.
However, I now seem to have my hotmail emails in twice, in the apple mail app.
(I.e. Folders under Hotmail, and the same folders under Exchange.)
I don't fancy losing access to my hotmail emails:
E.g. If I delete the Hotmail entry from the screenshot below and then Exchange hits a problem.
E.g. I've seen posts about people having their exchange not syncing, and being asked for their password constantly. I've had that, and gave up re-entering my password after a while. I never noticed emails missing - I now know because I was using the 'HOTMAIL' instance of my hotmail emails
Should I keep both the Hotmail and exchange set up as I have now?
Is it a big resource drain to do this?
My MBA SSD currently has loads of storage at present so I don't need to worry about saving space on the HD for quite a while etc.
>> My duplicated hotmail emails.
>> hhmmm maybe need to do some housekeeping! Does the ARCHIVE folder actually do anything?!
