I've used yahoo mail for many years, but recently got a trial MobileMe account (until I feel like it's worth spending money on) and now am using the mail.app program for the first time.
I just want to know if mail.app is working as designed or if MobileMe has messed it up....
Issues:
1) Mail creates two trash folders...even after I delete the MobileMe folder, it comes back...sometimes it puts a MobileMe section on the left nav bar with a folder called deleted messages. I thought the purpose of MobileMe was make all mail seamless regardless of where you delete it or read it or create it.

2) My preferences will stay saved for a bit then return to default when it comes the the "store deleted messages on the server" I suspect this is why I'm having the issues in #1 above as I'm basically telling mail to track deleted messages separately. But even though I save the preference it returns to being checked randomly.

3) Whenever I click a link for an email (iphoto, web, etc.) It launches mail.app as it should, however the new message window sometimes shows up in the foreground and sometimes behind the main window. What gives here?
Is mail acting up or is this par for the course..coming from using outlook and yahoo...mail seems a bit odd in it's behavior.
