mail.app less advanced than iPhone mail?

I absolutely love mail on my iPhone. Multiple Exchange accounts is huge. Any idea when mail.app on Snow Leopard will catch up? Seems silly that the mail application on the phone is more technically advanced than on the Mac.

How so? In mail.app, I have to go in and select IMAP, SMTP, etc for my other Exchange accounts and they just don't work as well. On my iPhone, I set all 3 email accounts up as Exchange and they work beautifully. I wish mail.app would work as smoothly.

sure, but there is a humongos difference between advanced and user friendly.
mobilemail.app is userfriendly in the way that it already has the most commen configurations encoded. mail.app is far more advanced in letting you configure anything any way you like and add certificate for encryption and what not.
