I have the following problem

I have a gmail account set up with a program Mail.app
Mail.app and run the program with this account is trying to send a message that has more than 8MB, 10MB(jpg or RAW file) and more. Unfortunately, it always ends in failure and possibly prompting to try later. Interestingly, if I select "Try Later" and restart Mail.app is the same message is sent without a problem.

From my observation is that the problem relates to a gmail account (on the other accounts of a pass for the first time) and a more than 7MB ..... message to about 6MB pass the first time.

The effect occurs at both protocol POP and IMAP
Maybe Any ideas ..... ??

PS. Until that happens that although the google servers work ok - I get the mail through the web to show icon like Mail.app could not connect to the server.

I would add that the problem does not occur in the Thunderbird and the new Outlook 2011.
In Mail.app on iOS in iPhone works ok
