Mail.app question

I’m having a problem using Mail.app (in Lion) to connect to my work email (on Exchange server). I enter my email address, password and email server just as I do with my iPhone (which receives mail with no problems), yet I am told the server is not responding.

Any ideas what the problem is?

I would ask you to read article HT1277 and also give your IT department an copy and ask them to fill in all details.

Your settings are probably not correct somewhere. Check your account settings thoroughly.
