Mail App: "Sent" Shows Error Message, w/ Gmail

I've been using Macs native Mail app for a few hours and am loving it, however upon sending my 1st message out, I got a little triangle with an exclamation point in the middle next to the "sent" section on the left pane......and this message upon clicking it.

Any guidance and advice is appreciated.

Update:

The triangles with the exclamation point don't show up where it was last pictured...

However, under the Gmail area, everytime I archive an email, the Gmail section displays a number...so if I archived 2 emails, then it'll show up as two unread
