In a van down by the river
My company email is a standard .com address with the same server settings for incoming and sending. When I set up the the account using the “other” option in mail, it recognizes the account with no problem and the correct receive date displays with each email. However, after a few hours or so, I look at the account again, and all past and present emails show the same date of 1979. The mail app will show the red badge notification for a new email. However, with all the emails now showing the same receive date of 1979, I can’t see the new email. This wasn’t a problem in iOS 13 and earlier. This problem started happening with iOS 14.

Has anyone run into this problem? Any known fix?

I don’t have this problem with third party mail apps.

After numerous attempts setting up the phone and iPad a new, the problem persisted. I decided to switch Apple ID’s and set up the phone and iPad as new with the different Apple ID. It seems to have solved the problem. Something appears to be corrupt my iCloud account that I have no way of correcting from my viewpoint.
