Hi

Im on latest Sequoia 15.4.1 and clicking on battery it says mail app is using significant energy. I notice my battery on my MacBook Pro is draining fairly fast.

I have not change anything my end, but I do notice in mail app that I get a message above all my emails now that says "your network preferences prevent content from loading privately" something that has only appeared recently. Not sure if that may be the cause of mail draining battery so fast.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

Go to Mail settings, and in the Privacy tab uncheck all options. Restart Mail and see if the energy usage drops. You can then try to re-enable the options you want. In my case the problem came back after a few days, so I keep them off, but for some users disabling protection, restarting Mail and re-enabling protection solves the problem permanently.
This bug is supposed to be fixed in 15.5, we'll see.
