Mail app wants password (It's been entered)

I have 3 mail accounts and for some reason it wants a password for one of them even though it has been correctly entered. All of them are gmail accounts, but this one goes through my domain name at oneeyeddoll.com.

Is there something I'm missing? An extra step for domain name gmail accounts?

It was working fine on my 3gs, but now I'm on iPhone 4 and I reset all of the settings to start from scratch. Any clues?

Happened to me once, I just cancelled the prompt and it started working again.

Are you using exchange? I have taken off my exchange Gmail account and made it IMAP again- 4.0 was giving me all kinds of problems with Exchange and that work-around posted last week didn't help me.

Ever since I switched them back to IMAP I have had zero issues.

Did you also enter the password in the outgoing server box? Sometimes it's not automatically filled in.

Ok, I had to dig a little to find the outgoing server password. That did the trick. Thanks!!!
