Why is Mail restrictive in what is doesn't auto-configure ?
During setup, I always must manually configure it, since auto-configuration (based on credentials fail)
Same with iOS, however web-based providers (eg Gmail) are ok..
However third party email clients (aka Thunderbird) auto-configure setting from local ISP just fine...
WHy does this happen ?
I assume all they do is query the ISP in question for the settings, even if they change in the future...
