Mail: Auto Reply when Marked as Read?

Hey guys... I'm trying to set up a Rule in Mail that auto replies with a message only when a message is opened and read (or simply marked as read).

The Mail Rules doesn't allow this to happen, at least not on Leopard. Is there an AppleScript or apps that will let me set this up?
