Mail Buttons TOO Large!

Hi guys, absolutely loving running Lion on my external HD. Can't wait to upgrade my 6 year old MBP after extensively testing the new OS on it.

One thing that bugs me though, is how unnecessarily large the font size is on the sidebar menu. In Snow Leopard it was much smaller. I know this might seem like a small complaint, but it really irks me!

If anyone has a suggestion on how to make it smaller? Also how do I go about changing it to classic view also?

To change the font size of the side bar just go to System preferences->general.

To change to classic view in Mail, go to Mail preferences and there you will find the option. I have attached two screenshots which are in German but you should be able to find the option.

You can make Finder's sidebar font size smaller too (same as Snow Leopard) if you haven't already in System Preferences -> General -> Sidebar icon size.

Yes the side bar settings in Finder and Mail are the same.

Interestingly enough, iTunes has its own setting for its sidebar.

Changed Finder's Sidebar Icons to Color Version

Also did it with iTunes.

Now, can't wait for Mail!

How did you change them to colour? Can't stand monochrome! At the end of the day, colour gets things done quicker
