after upgrading to Mavericks, each time I launch Mail, it complains that it can't connect to my iCloud account and asks me to enter my password.

I enter the password and can then access my iCloud email. but if I quit mail, every time I launch it again it asks me for the password all over again. No problem with any of my other email accounts in the Mail app. and wasn't a problem before upgrading to Mavericks.

anybody else seeing this? and is there some fix?

Mail won't connect to iCloud @mac.com account

hi

similar problem:

after installing 10.9, Mail will not connect all to the @mac iCloud account.

it connects to the account on iOS 7.3 iPhone but not on mac.

i have made it toggled active/inactive but same thing.

how to toggle it so that it adjusts whatever preference is messed up?

in my case, no need to keep entering password, it just gives an error message saying that there is a problem with the account. but what problem?

how big is this problem?

thanks

Thanks b.c. I had been having the same problem. The solution at TUAW works perfectly.
