A couple of days ago, I noticed that without me sending any emails to anyone, my Outbox had an email waiting to be sent. As I looked inside the Outbox I found an email I had sent three months ago! I thought it was weird, deleted the email, and went on with my business.
A few minutes later, again, another email on the outbox, and again, an old email, different one was there.
To make a long story short, Mail is, on its own, grabbing old emails and resending them without me asking it to do it.
I really don't know how to fix this or how this could happen, but by now, it is creating me problems as people are getting emails that I had sent them months ago and have many complaints.
Can anyone here help with ideas on what could be causing this problem?
For the moment I unabled smtp so no emails can get out, until I find the cause and solution.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Please help, am desperately confused and frustrated.
