In my address book certain entries only have one name (eg. Mum/Dad - they don't need a surname.) However if I send an email to one of these people using Mail, it automatically changes the entry by copying the surname in to the first name space, (so I get an Address Book entry of Mum Mum.)

Does anyone have a solution to this small (but slightly annoying) problem?

Hmmm... I don't manage to replicate this... But what if you just use the first name field in the Address Book for "Mum" and "Dad", in the first place (pun intended)...? :)

I am also having this problem, I realise this is an old thread, but does anybody have the answer???
