Mail clients that sync with hotmail

Is there a mail client for the Mac out there that syncs with Hotmail?

Currently I'm using OS X's Mail app but when I go to hotmail.com all the emails I have deleted/read in the Mail app appear undeleted and unread, which is a huge pain when wanting to access my email away from my Mac!

This just means your account is set up as a POP account vice IMAP. I don't think hotmail even offers an IMAP option, so if you want this functionality I suggest switching to GMail.
