Have SL up and running no issues until today. Headers of some new emails come in and they read normally. When I click on the header, the body of the email is something from a good year ago. Header still reads correct, body is something from the past. Weird.
My first troubleshooting fix is to set up an Archived Inbox to get some of my many emails out of the Inbox. I'm guessing this could be part of the problem. It's happening on my iMac, but my iphone reads them correctly (mac.com)
So, I'm guessing this has something to do with whatever address my iMac is giving to the individual email file.
On my corporate exchange account, same computer and mail program (SL's best feature for me... exchange...), I've not seen this problem.
