iPod touch Mail crashes

I can't get into mail, when it loads I see a white screen then it quits to the home screen. I deleted my gmail account, disabled push and nothing helps? Time to go back to 1.1.4?

Well, I can't even delete or disable that gmail account.

I upgraded my iPod Touch today and I have the same problem with mail. It just loads the white screen and then quits to the home screen.

Has anyone got a fix for this?

I was having the same problem with AIM originally. All I did was do a reset on the ipod itself and once it started back up all was fine. Also something I have noticed if that if you do not have your clock set correctly many of the apps will not work! I found this to be true for both YouTube and AIM.

NOW the only problem I am having is setting up my Yahoo mail account. It keeps saying my username or password are invalid even though they are not.....i'm definitely very confused.

UPDATE: Solved the problem by leaving the Name field for Yahoo mail blank and only filling in the address and password.....very weird
