iPod touch Mail crashes

EVERY time i open Mail on my new itouch 2nd Gen, it crashes.

im running 2.1.1 not jailbroken (yet), anybody else have this problem or a fix?

It's not a widespread problem from what I can tell. If it's happening to you every time, maybe the best thing to do would be a complete restore? iTunes will back up your data first so you won't lose anything valuable.

Try holding the home button and sleep button. This should force a restart of your iPod, then try to open mail. If this doesn't work try to restore it.

yeah i tried the reset, and ill try the restore when a the new Pwnage Tool for the itouch 2G

ok i finally restored, not from backup, and it was working fine untill now. same thing

any one else have this?
