Starting yesterday evening, I haven't been able use my Mail app on my iPhone 5S. I have updated to 7.0.6 but this problem didn't arise immediately after updating my phone. At first it would open, showing me email inside the last folder I was looking in and the moment I tried to leave that folder to see a different one, it would crash by just disappearing. Now, the moment I open the app it disappears. I have tried closing the app, soft resetting my phone and tried turning off my phone completely and back on. No luck. If it were a third party app, I would try reinstalling it. Do I really have to restore my phone for this?

Did you try removing the mail account from settings > Mail and re-adding it? Seems like you tried everything else first.
I thought about removing the mail accounts and putting them back in (I have four) but didn't try that. I ended up restoring from backup, which is a pain since I have a lot of apps. Working fine now.
