I recently got a 17 Powerbook & tranferred all my files, mail etc from my G4 tower to the Powerbook.

I seem to be having a problem with the mail program. It launches like normal & I start to read the new mail. But when I read certain email messages (well just click to open the message) the whole mail application
crashes (unexpectedly quits ). Some messages will open fine and other crash the whole thing. I tried turning off embedded HTML in the mail but that doesn't make a difference.

I'm running OS X 10.2.8 on my old computer and 10.3.4 on the Powerbook.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!

I see newbie under your name, so I'm just going to throw this out there for concideration, even though you have owned a mac before, but have you repaired permissions. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/89736/

Tried it...

And I still have crashing. Actually I've come to notice that not only does my mail crash, but Safari and Mac Help also crash right after booting them.

Any more suggestions? I'm not new to Macs but I am new to Panther.
