Mail Deleting Trash Problem

Hey everyone,

I recently downgraded from Leopard back to Tiger and I'm having a problem with the Mail app. Whenever I go to delete the items in my Mail trash bin, they come back and I need to delete everything twice. Is there a quick fix for this to get back to normal? Maybe a setting I have wrong or something?

Never seen this crop up, but have you tried deleting your Mail preferences?

Just a thought.......

As you've effectively installed mail twice (originally with Leopard and then with Tiger) you may have two entries in your library - Leopard may store emails in a different location. Have a look for Mail in your user library - there may be two copies of all emails. If this is the case you can delete one.

I looked in the preferences and changed some things around and now I delete it and it seems to simply disappear without even going through the trash bin. Thanks guys!
