mail delivery and read message

ciao to all,
i'm a new mac user and i love it but there are some features that i still can't find. the most important is a way to get a feedback when i send a mail with "mail" application. something like: "the message has been delivered" and "the message has been read". is there a way to do it? thanks a lot for any answer, ignazio.

i found the answer: there is already the function to do it but it is invisible. just go to

and write instruction into the shell

how to stop delivery notifications

my outlook sends a delivered message to my email every time I send a message. I can't find and options button anywhere to turn this off. How do i stop these notifications?
