Mail displaying email address instead of name despite being in Address Book

Hi all,

I have two email address for my girlfriend assigned in my Address Book. One is a home address which is a standard Gmail addy and the other is a work email address. When she sends me email from Gmail it displays her name in the Mail app correctly. When she sends me email from work it refuses to display anything but the full email address despite both email addresses being under her name in my Address Book.

If I send her a new email to the work address then it displays her name as it should in the Sent Folder, but as soon as she replies it displays as her email address in my Inbox Folder and likewise if I reply to that email, it displays as her email in my Sent Folder too.

This never used to happen until the company she works for stopped using Outlook as their email client and started using Lotus Notes instead. I realise it could be that her display name in Lotus Notes is set to her email address and therefore forcing it to display that in recipients folders, however surely having her email assigned to a contact name at my end should override that locally?

It's not a big deal, more curious as to why this is happening though?
