Where I am
Do you use the conversation/threaded view for emails, or not?

When Gmail released the 'conversation' view years ago, I tried it for a brief moment. But, wasn't a fan, and am still not.
But, I'd like to get the opinion of those that do use the conversation/threaded view of emails.

Do you feel it works relatively well?

No idea about gmail - I am using a different provider with IMAP - but if you refer to threads/conversations in the macOS Mail app, I couldn‘t live without it. For work I something have conversations going on with partners and clients for months if not years. It really becomes helpful for such.

I don't receive enough (private) emails for it to be useful.

Sometimes I'll switch to it on MacOS just to see the entire chain including the mails I've sent, but usually it's off.

At work (Windows, Outlook app) it's permanently on.
