Mail dosen't work

Hello,

3 days ago, I installed the newest security update. The next morning, I tried to open mail, but after a few seconds, it shut down and I see an error message to relaunch mail and a report will be automatically send to Apple. I can not open mail no more.
Any ideas?

I have a 2007 Macbook 10.6.8

Hope you guys can help.

Does somebody know a way I can reopen Mail?
