iPhone 7/Plus Mail drop of wav. files and very long delays - What is going on?

I am recording on my iphone 7+ using a Shure MV88. I then send the files to my computer via email and Mail Drop, but the delay is horrendous. It's 12 hours now and still no sign of them. Is this delay normal using Mail Drop? Is there an easier way to transfer wav. files to a PC?
