My iPhone 7+ has developed an issue with mail. 2 days ago, it stopped getting my email at 1030 in the morning. The error message said that my account information was wrong and I needed to enter the correct information. I had made no changes to my mail account or to anything on my phone. I couldn’t see what the trouble was, so I made a new account with the same information and it worked just fine.
I had left the old account active. A couple of hours later, I noticed that both accounts were fetching the same email. Problem solved or so I thought.
I turned off the new account and started using the original account. Yesterday at 1130, the old account stopped working like it had the previous day only this time it didn’t fix itself. So I’m back to using the new account.
Does anyone have any idea what happened and how I can fix it?
For the record, I’m using iOS 11.3 beta.
