When using maildrop to send a big file (+-3.5gb), mail takes al my ram memory, and then proceeds to use my swap-memory until my whole macbook air (4gb ram) freezes. I then have to hard-reset it, and it never completed sending the mail.

I already deleted the mail-database, but that doesn't help. I think this problem also happened to me before I upgraded to high-siera. Is this a know bug? Or is there anything I can do about it?

Thanks in advance!
