what do you have your mail fetch schedule set to?

i had mine set to hourly. i'm setting it to manual to see if it improves battery life

Mine is set to manual so I can just check for emails whenever I choose to.

i set mine to manual as well. but when i went to advanced my gmail still was set to fetch. so i set it to manual there too

might want to check that

sweet. did you have that set up from the start? or did you set it up after having the phone for a few days?

what i'm trying to get at is did changing the setting help battery life

I have mine set to every 15 minutes and it does not make a huge difference. I have tried 60 and 30 minutes and it just does not make a huge difference.

My galaxy S2 was set to check for mail every 5 minutes 24-7 and it never had a battery problem.

i am coming from the incredible 2 so this is less battery life than i'm used to. still an amazing phone.

definitely keeping, will just have to charge more often
