Stealthipad macrumors 68040 Apr 30, 2010 3,223 7 Oct 20, 2011 #7 I have mine set to every 15 minutes and it does not make a huge difference. I have tried 60 and 30 minutes and it just does not make a huge difference. My galaxy S2 was set to check for mail every 5 minutes 24-7 and it never had a battery problem.
