Since updating to iOS 17 I've had a tricky time with my email. A focus filter I had set up before upgrading (which worked beautifully...) is now permanently enabled on my iPhone. I cannot turn it off, so my work mail is constantly hidden.

I cannot configure mail focus filters at all now and get the below error message. I can set them up via shortcuts, but they don't work - nothing changes the permanently-enabled focus filter which shows my 2x personal emails and hides my work email (which is kinda annoying, at work...)

I already tried
  • Turning the phone off and on again
  • Force closing
  • Enabling and disabling various focuses with different or no mail filters enabled
  • Deleting and redownloading the mail app
  • Installing 17.0.1 -> this actually worked until, you guessed it, the next night when my sleep focus enabled.
Has anyone else experienced the same? Anyone found the solution?
