I noticed yesterday when I decided I wanted to start using Mail on a regular basis. I've used it before, but simply just to have it configured on my computer so that if ever one of those random email links popped up and I needed to write one, instead of having to go through the motions and opening it on the Gmail website, it would open up on Mail directly.

I deleted the POP account I had and added a new one, also from Gmail. Now everytime I'm going to add an attachment to an email, it freezes. It never loads up the file into the email. I tried adding a picture (about 150kb in size) and the program froze. I tried Forwarding another message later on and the program froze as well.

Has this happened to anyone here before? Would I have to reinstall Mail (if so, how? I've tried looking for the program online but no luck so far.)

I have an iMac with 2GB of RAM.
