My Mail seems to have gone really strange.

#1 - When I send now, the mail doesn't appear in Sent mail anywhere, but it still gets to the recipient.

#2 - When I try to select an old sent message, about two thirds of all my sent mail messages display this message:

"The message from "Chuck" <my email address> concerning “Email subject” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.

What is this about? These sent emails are old, have been on my machine for ages and are certainly not sitting on any server. Why isn't Mail showing them?

Thanks for any help you can give. :)

Chuck.
