Mail gone wild & creepy

What's wrong with my mail? How to fix ? I tried closing the app from the multitasking and still this, I also tried turning mail off in settings and back on. Pretty creepy actually, look at the year on that.

Hold down the power button and the home button together until the phone resets. See if that does anything.

If not...next step: What e-mail service are you using?

It looks like the messages have been deleted from your device, pulling (refreshing) them from your mail server hopefully will help.

simply boot in safe mode and respring. assuming you jailbroken

Happened to me before. Mine was 1969 though. It's quite common actually. Quick google search brings up others with the same issue. The problem if I remember is with gmail.
