Hello! A little question since I'm expecting my first iphone to arrive within this week, and tought I'd plan ahead.

I'm currently using my old hotmail as my primary mail server. Added to the web browser, I've linked the mail client on my macbook air to it (So all mails end up in a POP folder on hotmail).

I was wondering how I should connect the whole thing to my phone for optimal usage.
1. Is it possible to link the phone to the account without downloading all the mails? (so only new mails gets downloaded by the phone)

2. Can I delete mails on the phone without losing them in the other places (like the server and osx mail client)?

3. Anything else I should think about?

Thanks in advance for any help!
