Hello,

I am receiving a lot of spam mails and I have a filter running, that sends them to the spam folder automatically. Every now and then I'm browsing through that folder to check for falsely marked spam mails. They have this orange look which makes it a bit hard to read, though. I can't seem to find a way to change the appearance of the mails that have been moved into the spam folder (running Catalina). Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

you can do it by making a rule to change the color of the subject header.
there are two places you can make this rule:
1 in the Junk tab of Mail Preferences, (likely you will need to play around the settings to learn how they work)
2 in the Rules tab of Mail Preferences (straightforward to make the rules)
basically to make the rule you simply say if the message is deemed Junk or Spam then set the text color to what ever you want.
make sure the last step in yr rule is Stop evaluating rules.

Thank you for the advice! It didn't work for me, though. After trying out a few things for a couple of hours I somehow ended up just using the server based spam folders. Works well enough now :D
