Guys

I have set up a aaa@bb.com email on my iphone:

pop3.bb.com
smtp.o2.uk

it does work great to receive the email but when i sent a mail the recipient see my gmail address in brackets as well as the aaa@bb.com address.

Is there a way to show aaa@bb.com only ?

Thanks

In the gmail web interface, do you have your desired email address set as "default" (under settings>Accounts)? If, not, just add then gmail will need to verify that this new email address is really yours.

This will usually get you there....but I do get "on behalf of" in some mail clients.

On the iPhone, unfortunately yes...for now. This would be a nice upgrade on a future update. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

One work around would be to go to the web interface for the gmail account you want to use and send from there (if you have imap inabled, it will "sync" with your iPhone). Try m.gmail.com. It is rather quick on the iPhone.
