Far from here
Hi all,

sorry I have poor English.

Here is the big issue I am having with Mail : I no longer can add, modify or delete any rule because it makes Mail crash instantly.

The reason is some of the current rules point to folders that no longer exist on my computer.
The path to these folders as seen in ~/Mail/V3/SyncedRules.plist reads something like :

local:////Volumes/MBP%20HD/Users/bruno/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes/example.mbox

Where MBP%20HD (actually "MBP HD") is the name of the boot disk of my previous computer under Mavericks.

I have tried to delete the SyncedRules.plist, or manually edit the SyncedRules.plist and delete some entries (rules), then reboot, but the deleted entries come back instantly when iCloud Drive sync the data.

Of course, I can uncheck "Mail" in iCloud Drive Preferences, delete the SyncedRules.plist, and everything is fine as long as I don't turn "Mail" on again in iCloud Drive Preferences.

However, since I can NOT delete any rule from Mail (crash), the question is :

How can I delete Mail rules that are stored in iCloud ??

Thanks for any help.

Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2015, OS X 10.11.5
