Mail - How to stop a message?

ok, after 1 week i managed to get myself hosed on my mac.

using mail and my mac.com account i mistakenly created and sent an email of 115mb. i didn't realize until i hit send. now i seem to be stuck in a loop where it tries to send it, gets clogged and i get a message "some actions while the account xxxxx@mac.com was offline could not be completed online" it further states the connection to the server mal.mac.com on port 993 timed out.

i'm new to this and i honestly have no idea what to do. is this because it keeps trying to send it and can't? the message keeps ending up in my Drafts folder over and over for each time it fails.

sorry, i'm an idiot, any help would be appreciated.

Do you delete it from Drafts?

yes, it keeps coming back.

it seems like it keeps trying to send it and after a point the .mac mail times out, it goes to draft, tries again, and eventually i get those messages.

i cannot believe i did whatever it is it did. it's like a loop and i can't figure out how to stop that message from attempting to send.

what a stupid i am.....
