When i drag or download a pdf or other attachment from mail to any folder, including the desktop, there is a small Envelope Icon next to the name. Hovering over it shows where it came from, click & it takes you to the email it was attached to, right click you can even send a reply to the mail.
Problem is, they disappear after about an hour. No way to get them back. If I download the attachment again, they are on the new file, but still gone from the old file. And then again, disappear from the new download. I sometimes download (or mostly drag & drop) dozens of attachments every day, so this was a super useful feature for me, so i thought.
Anyone else noticing this?
