MAIL in Leopard . . . Question

My apologies for a dumb question . . . up front. I am new to the Mac and just installed Leopard successfully.

In the new MAIL application I can't find a way to increase the size of the icons and/or text in the sidebar where the mail boxes are located. Is this not possible? I thought the icons were much larger in Tiger and the text also.
