Mail: Installed font turning get into boxes...

I installed Interstate light on my MBA as that's the default font for our company. It's been working great for a few weeks in all programmes, then suddenly in Mail today, it has turned all my messages into this:

It still works fine in Word etc though...

Any idea how I might fix it?
