"Mail" is not downloading new emails - Gmail

I did a clean install of Snow Leopard 2 days ago. After setting my gmail account in mail, it started downloading old emails from gmail`s inbox.
But since then Mail isn`t downloading any new emails.

In gmail`s settings POP is enabled "POP is enabled for all mail that has arrived since 7/6/07"
IMap is also enabled.
