Mail - is there a good search add-on?

After using Apple Mail for a few months, I have found its search abilities to be a bit limited. Are there any add-ons available that greatly improve searching through mail? I should mention that my mail is on an IMAP server and is not local to my machine.

I know of an excellent little add-on, not yet released, but it should be available very soon. It's somewhat expensive, though, at $129. It's called Mac OS X 10.4.

Seriously, if you can wait until Tiger comes out, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the search capabilities of the new Mail.app. It should work fine even with IMAP folders because Mail caches everything on your local machine.

I can indeed wait I hadn't read anything about Mail being improved as far as search abilities in Tiger, so I figured I would ask.

Yeah, Spotlight in Tiger is supposed to be the "end all" when it comes to searching (and finding!) information.
