Mail issue, need help

I have a mail account on my MBP on 10.9.1

The issue is I can't see all the folders that are linked to the account. They are based in Germany and Im in the UK and its a general email account that a few have access to. They run Windows so can't really help me but they said have to right click on the account name and then it gives them the option to add different folders linked to that account.

I can't see this option anywhere so am missing them.

Also, there are only 25 unanswered messages on the server yet Im showing loads and they are not moving from my view of the inbox to the other folders like they say they are on there comps in the office in Germany.

No idea lol. All I do know is I used to see them but now I don't.

Its fine on other email accounts I have as it automatically listed all the folders.

There are some major flaws reported in mail in Mavericks - do a search on here. There has been some reports that things may be better in 10.9.2. We shall see.

OK, but on every other account I have which is another 3, all the folders are listed, just this one does not.

Also, Im sure they mentioned they are an imap account but in my setting it says pop.

Would they still work if they should be imap??

Sorted, that was the issue, should have been imap
