mail issues after upgrade

Hi all

After upgrading to 10.9.2 i've had nothing but constant issues with authentication to mail server at my ISP with Apple mail:

The error is :"The IMAP mail server <server name> dosn't support MD5 Challenge Response authentication. Verify your account settings and try again."
